It’s almost time for Bryan County High School’s Boys and Girls Summer Shootout.

Registration for this highly anticipated student basketball event has already begun, but you can still enroll in this vacation basketball camp for boys and girls. The camp itself will run from June 9 through June 12 (it’s not a very long session), and it is geared exclusively toward boys who will be in grades two through nine next year as well as girls who will also be in grades two through nine next year.

All applications must be received by June 9, which means that as long as there are some open spots left, you could literally walk right up on the first day of the Bryan County High School’s Boys and Girls Summer Shootout and enroll your child. Of course, that would be cuting it awfully close, and the wise and prudent parent would be the one who goes ahead and jumps on this opportunity now, several days before the deadline.

Registration to the Bryan County High School’s Boys and Girls Summer Shootout costs only $35 per child (which seems like a great deal), and if you wanted to enroll additional kids from the same family, there is a $5 discount for each additional child. That means the additional kids’ enrollment fees are only $30 each. Don’t tell this to the first child signed up, or it may create jealousy issues, know what I mean?

Kids who signed up before May 16 got a free T-shirt, but I only learned of the Bryan County High School’s Boys and Girls Summer Shootout a couple of days ago, so I could not write this blog post in time to let folks know before that deadline had passed. All apologies to anyone who missed out on getting a cool T-shirt. But hey, there is still time to enroll in the Boys and Girls Shootout at the Bryan County High School, and that’s what’s important.

Now, if you happen to enroll any of your kids, please do make sure to give them a little bit of spedning money for snacks, as the folks who run the Bryan County High School’s Boys and Girls Summer Shootout have made it clear that there will be break times during the event when kids are encouraged to rest and have a snack. Since they specifically mention having the kods bring money with them for just such a purpose, I assume there are vending machines of some sort on the premises.

The players will participate in a number of different types of individual basketball drills, team drills and actual games during their time at the Bryan County High School’s Boys and Girls Summer Shootout, and this would seem to be an ideal way for promising young players to hone their skills and get into shape over their summer vacation.

The staff of this camp will include not only coaches from the Lady Redskins team but also current varsity players. Anyone who wants more information on the Bryan County High School’s Boys and Girls Summer Shootout is encouraged to contact Coach Mario Mincey by calling (912) 626-5050. They have signup forms at the Bryan County Middle School front office, which is also where they will be accepting payment for enrollment.

Once again, sorry about missing that T-shirt deadline, but I hope all my readers see this information about the Bryan County High School’s Boys and Girls Summer Shootout in time to enroll their kids!
